Dancing with God

Ok so it has been a while since i have been able to have some time with God allow. Well as part of Lifeteams we get to spend a day with God, walking, talking, listening, worshipping and well dancing in the arms of God.

What a day, i was really worried i would run out of things to say to God, like that is possible , i know but there is always some part of your mind willing you that to some point you will not make it. Well six hours of pure silence can cure any mind of that lie. God and I walked through psalm 139 together and then we went for a walk then we danced up a hill and then well it was just us and to me that was more then life, and the most exciting thing about it was that all my House mates were doing the same thing as me and God was speaking to them all in different ways too!!

My prayer is that even if it was just for an hour, try and do it, you will be surprise what He has lined up for you! thanks for all your love and prayers xxx

Placement prayers

Placement- what can i say, it has been really hard actually, Amanda and my self are placed in two schools in Maple Ridge, they are high schools, and it is really hard because the programme we are working to is not actually set up and so we are starting from scratch, our supervisor is not making things easy for us by not giving us any room to work and not really allowing us to do the work we feel called to do. But amazing how God's grace can follow through these situations and how his purposes come clear as we continue to trust in Him and the work he is trying to do through us. Please pray with us through this time, we really need your prayers!! thank you for all your love and prayer xxx

Lifeteams count down

That night i got to meet this amazing lady that will be apart of my life for the eight and a half. Iona came to pick us up from Cathy's place, it was so nice to finally meet her and see her in person.

The Beginning continued

Cathy arrived home Monday morning, it was great cause we sat and had a cup of tea and talked about home and Lifeteams and How i got there, how i got here and the flight and medication etc.. Mo showed his face for lunch and then Becca arrived, so in order to allow her to sleep we went out for lunch, that evening Cathy treated us to dinner at the Banana Leaf, which is a Malaysian restaurant, the food was amazing. It was so kind of her to do that for us and such a treat. On Tuesday Cathy took us to long Island and to Granville Island so it was nice to walk around and see this amazing city.

The Begining

It has been over a month since i have arrived in Vancouver and almost four weeks since we all moved into the house. Yet it feel like longer, years and months. My house mates are truly amazing people, each with their own story as to how God brought them here and each with their own stories. however these are stories i long to tell you and yet i feel it's been to short a time and you have not yet heard the beginning.

In the beginning we stayed with Becca's close friend Kim, what an amazing women, i was truly excited about meeting Kim and i am so glad the opportunity to meet such a women. She gave me a bed to sleep in for my first night and opened her home to me. Her kids are wonderful and so cute. You can see that God lives in their Home!

Friday night i spent my first night being sick and jet lagged, but i got to meet Mo, he was so good for me during that time as he made me get use to the time zones and the time difference. At one point i just spent the day in my PJ's cause i couldn't face walking outside looking the way i did, however once i had Skyped mum and pops and anne i decided that was the best idea for me to go outside.
